Dirty Loops continues to share videos in support of their new album, “Phoenix”. “Breakdown” is a super chill tune by the band, with some laid back bass work by Henrik Linder.

We featured a video of 10-year-old bassist Gev Delano last week, and we were all blown away. Turns out, we’re not the only ones. Federico Malaman wrote a tune that he wanted to record with the young bassist. Here’s the video for “Mala-Gev-Jam”.

When we shared the video of ZZ Top performing “La Grange” on the Howard Stern Show, our friend Greg Hickey replied with this video of Harry Styles performing Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer” on the show. Harry and the band nailed it.

No Treble reader Roberto Lo Monaco shared his latest video with us, which will be on his upcoming album, “DreamScape”. “Astral Planes” features a rich, layered soundscape, all from Roberto’s bass.

Drummer Chris Georgenes sent us this video, and he got our attention before we even checked out the video. Check out his epic cover (with 13 bassists!) of Parliament’s “Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof off the Sucker)”.

I know I shouldn’t be surprised at how good the REO Brothers are with each new video. But every time, I’m blown away yet again. In this clip, the brothers take on songs from the Beatles’ “Abbey Road”.

Here’s a fantastic clip from the “Old Grey Whistle Test”, which was recorded around 1973 but wasn’t aired until 1978. Steely Dan performs “Reelin’ in the Years”, with the late, great Walter Becker on bass.

Pomplamoose is back with a new video. Joined by guest vocalist KT Tunstall, here’s their cover of U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.” I especially enjoyed what bassist Nick Campbell did with it.

I don’t know why it took me so long to discover Gev Delano and his videos, but I’m glad I did. After a bit of research, I found that he’s 10 years old. But that didn’t stop him from taking on a monster of a tune: Jaco’s “Havona”.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Zildjian LIVE! video series, but this is the one I was hoping would happen. In this clip, the legendary Dennis Chambers joins Ghost-Note (with MonoNeon on bass). This one is so great. Even the false start is great!

I really got into the self-titled Black Pumas album when it first came out. Then I bought the deluxe edition, which includes some great new material. Here’s the band (with Brendan Bond on bass) performing “I’m Ready”.
