G&L Guitars has added a new JB-5 to their Fullerton Deluxe lineup that will feature a Western Sugar Pine body. The move is in part tribute to founder Leo Fender, whose first instruments were built with pine.

Solar Guitars has unveiled a new bass model called the AB2.4 Canibalismo. The four-string bass is built with a sungkai body in a distressed red “Canibalismo” finish with a matching headstock.

Ernie Ball Music Man has unveiled a new collection of instruments in their Artist Series in collaboration with Tim Commerford. He’s been a StingRay player for most of his career, and the line includes four variations of EBMM’s flagship bass.

Aluminati Guitar Co. has previously focused on building bass necks out of aluminum, but now they’ve announced their first complete bass.

Breedlove Guitars has unveiled the ECO Pursuit series, including the Pursuit Exotic S Concerto Amber Bass CE, which comes in fretted and fretless versions. The ECO Series boasts three layers of tonewood that were sustainably harvested.
