Christian Kussmann sent us this video of his band Fremde Federn. The band performs their own interpretations of popular tunes, like this one: Nirvana’s “Come As You Are”.

I’ve played sax almost as long as I’ve played bass, so this video by The Fearless Flyers hits me on many levels. In this clip, the Flyers cover the Vulfpeck tune, “Adrienne & Adrianne.” Both versions feature the mighty Joe Dart!

Put on your headphones, or better yet – plug this into your surround sound system. Nathan Navarro just sent us this video, which features him playing a Wilcox bass with a breakout box that essentially routes each string to its own output.

Back in April, I discovered the REO Brothers band and their incredible cover of “Penny Lane.” I’ve finally gotten the chance to go through more of their videos, and while they’re all fantastic, I really enjoyed their cover of “Something.”

Zander Zon has a new Mayones bass, and so he’s changing things up with this new video. Strung with regular strings (vs. his typical piccolo bass set-up), we get to hear one of his incredible bass arrangements with a new sound.
