Ashdown is now shipping the latest addition to their Artist series effects pedals, the NM2 Double Distortion Pedal. Designed in collaboration with Foo Fighters four-stringer Nate Mendel, the stompbox is a stereo pedal with two separate distortions that can be routed to different amps or combined.
It has a single input and two outputs – one for each overdrive. Both signals can be combined via the 1+2 switch that then feeds both to Output 2. Each distortion has its own drive mix, master control, and footswitch. For monitoring, the pedal has a Meter switch to toggle between displaying the clean and dirty signals on the classic VU meter.
The Ashdown NM2 Nate Mendel Double Distortion pedal is available now with a street price of $169. For more info, check out the Ashdown website.
