Stuart Clayton’s bass transcriptions are staples here at No Treble, and he has turned his talents to transcribing the whole of Level 42’s first live album, A Physical Presence.
In the book, Level 42 — A Physical Presence Bass Transcriptions, Clayton transcribes the work of vocalist/bassist Mark King, known for his electric bass slap style, including songs like the instrumental “Mr. Pink,” “The Chinese Way,” “Turn It On,” and “Hot Water.”
However, if you’re an American Level 42 fan, you’ll have to go without this particular title. Licensing restrictions only allow the book to be available in the UK and Europe. For UK and European readers, the book is available through Bassline Publishing.
