The Forty Eight is built with European ash body for matte finishes or an alder body for aged finishes. The Canadian hard rock maple neck is attached the the body with six bolts and is fitted with rosewood fingerboard. The Forty Eight has an active/passive preamp with a 2-band EQ and a blend control for the pickups.
