Sandberg Guitars Now Shipping Forty Eight Bass
Sandberg Guitars is now shipping the Forty Eight, a bass that throws back to old school rock and metal. The model is available in several finishes including a metallic hardcore aged red.
The Forty Eight is built with European ash body for matte finishes or an alder body for aged finishes. The Canadian hard rock maple neck is attached the the body with six bolts and is fitted with rosewood fingerboard. Thought they appear identical, the neck pickup is a split-coil design while the bridge pickup is a Powerhumbucker. The Forty Eight has an active/passive preamp with a 2-band EQ and a blend control for the pickups.
Other features include Sandberg nickel aged hardware, 22 medium sized frets, and a 34-inch scale.
The Sandberg Forty Eight is shipping now with street price around $2,795.
