Robert Trujillo: Polar Music Prize Interview
Metallica has been awarded The Polar Music Prize for 2018 – considered the Nobel Prize for music. This marks the first time a heavy metal band has received the honor.
The award includes one million Swedish kronor, (approximately $126,000), which the band said will be donated to its own “All Within My Hands” organization, which aids communities in need with workforce education, food-bank donations, and other local services.
