Modest Mouse Announces Album’s 20th Anniversary Tour

Modest Mouse

Modest Mouse celebrated the 20th anniversary of their hit record, Good News For People Who Love Bad News, with a reissue earlier this year. Now, the indie icons will take the show on the road on a 21-date tour.

Their schedule will begin in Hawaii on October 28th before skipping back over to the continental U.S. They’ll cover the West Coast before cutting across the country, including one stop over the border in Toronto, Canada. The tour concludes with three nights at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, New York, on November 21st, 22nd, and 23rd.

Good News For People Who Love Bad News propelled the band into stardom with the monster hit “Float On,” which was anchored by original bassist Eric Judy. He left the band in 2012 and was subsequently replaced by Russell Higbee, who has performed with the band ever since.
