Warm Audio Introduces the Pedal76 Compressor Pedal

Warm Audio Pedal76 Compressor Pedal

Warm Audio has launched the Pedal76, which they describe as a faithful recreation of a legendary compressor in pedal form. The new unit is an all-analog, transformer-balanced FET compressor designed for guitar, bass, and more.

“Premium capacitors, resistors, and transistors round out a circuit that cuts no corners in delivering an authentic studio experience on stage,” the company writes. “The added harmonic depth from the FET circuit and rich tone preservation from the custom transformer blend perfectly to recreate the ultimate compressor for guitar and bass players.”

The Pedal76 has Attack, Release, Ratio, and input controls for dialing in just the right compression. While the 76-style compressor is typically a piece of studio gear, Warm Audio added features to optimize live performance, including an external switch for true and buffered bypass operation, switches for input sensitivity, a ground/lift pad, and high/low gain modes. Finally, direct output can send your signal directly to a mixer or live recording rig.

The Warm Audio Pedal76 is out now for $269.
