Positive Grid Introduces the Spark EDGE Portable Amp

Positive Grid has expanded its Spark lineup of portable amps with the Spark EDGE. The multi-channel smart amp and PA was engineered for everyone from singer-songwriters and buskers to full bands.
“Capable of serving as an amp, PA, or personal monitor, Spark EDGE offers flexible connectivity for electric and acoustic guitars, bass, vocals, keyboards, and more,” the company writes. “With optional battery power (sold separately), Spark EDGE delivers the freedom to perform anytime, anywhere.”
The 65-watt amp has four channels. The first two are equipped with 36 amp models and 50 effects for guitars, bass, and vocals. They also have eight customizable presets. Channels three and four are stereo input channels for keyboards, drum machines, and other instruments.
For connectivity, the Spark EDGE has a stereo line out, dual XLR and 1/4-inch combo inputs, two 1/4-inch inputs, MIDI in, Bluetooth, and even a USB-C port. Other features include a built-in drum machine, Spark AI for AI-powered tone suggestions, Smart Jam backing tracks, Aut Chords, and more.
The Spark EDGE has an introductory price point of $399.
