Vertex Effects dropped a second part to their interview with bass legend Nathan East. It’s safe to say that Nathan and his Yamaha basses RULED the ’80s. His resume is incredible, from Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Anita Baker, Quincy Jones, Jeff Lorber, and more.
I studied so many of his lines, and still do! I had a Yamaha BB3000 when I was a teenager because of him on the Jeff Lorber album It’s A Fact. He also plays one of my favorite tunes, “Love Will Follow” by Kenny Loggins.
