Elvis Costello and The Imposters Bring Classic Hits to Life on Radio Soul! 2025 Tour

Elvis Costello Radio Soul! Tour 2025

Elvis Costello is extending his Radio Soul!: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello tour, which features the singer/songwriter performing his early material. The set list will include cuts from 1977’s My Aim is True through 1986’s Blood & Chocolate. Costello will once again be joined by his backing band The Imposters.

“You can expect the unexpected and the faithful in equal measure,” Costello says. “Don’t forget this show is ‘Performed by Elvis Costello & The Imposters,’ an ensemble which includes three people who first recorded this music and two more who bring something entirely new. They are nobody’s tribute band.”

The Imposters lineup is filled out by Steve Nieve, Charlie Sexton, Pete Thomas, and Davey Faragher. Though Faragher didn’t play on the catalog they will be playing, he has been backing Costello since 2001 and is on eight of his albums. He’s also noted for his playing with Sheryl Crow, John Hiatt, Cracker, and more.

Check out this 2011 clip of Costello & The Imposters performing “Pump It Up” from 1978’s This Year’s Model.
