Weezer Brings the Blue Album to Life at Riot Fest in Chicago (PHOTOS)

Weezer came to Riot Fest in Chicago and gave the crowd exactly what they wanted. They tore into the entire Blue Album front to back and every song hit like a wave of pure nostalgia. From My Name Is Jonas to Only in Dreams the festival grounds turned into a full on singalong.

Rivers Cuomo and the band did not stop there. They stacked the set with other favorites that kept the energy high and the fans locked in. Three decades on and those songs still land with the same punch they did in 1994.

The photos tell the story better than words can. Weezer at Riot Fest was a celebration of everything that makes this band one of the most loved in rock. And stay tuned because we have an interview with bassist Scott Shriner dropping later this week.
