Alabama Shakes Return to the Road in 2026 With Zac Cockrell Back on Bass
Ever since they announced their reunion earlier this year, the Alabama Shakes have been playing with renewed energy. Now, they’re keeping the vibes going into 2026 with a new run of dates in the United States and across Europe.
The tour will kick off on April 16th in Richmond, Virginia. They’ll make their way down the East Coast throughout the month, jumping to Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado at the end of May. After an appearance at Bonnaroo, they’ll head to Europe in July to visit the UK, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, and Spain. Their final date for 2026 is slated for September 19th at The Woodlands in Dover, Delaware.
Alabama Shakes returned in 2025 after an eight-year hiatus with the trio of vocalist Brittany Howard, guitarist Heath Fogg, and bassist Zac Cockrell, joined by touring members to fill out their sound. They released a new single, “Another Life,” featuring a thick, driving bass line by Cockrell. See the band play it live at Red Rocks:
