Orange Amplifiers Doubles Up with the OBC215C 2×15 Bass Cabinet

Orange Amplifiers has expanded its bass cabinet lineup with the OBC215C, a 2×15″ bass cab rated at 800 watts. The UK-built enclosure is something a bit different from the company, which hasn’t produced a 2×15″ model since the ’70s, says Orange Amps USA’s Derron Nuhfer.
The OBC215C is built with 18mm birch ply and houses a pair of Celestion Pulse 15 drivers. The design is front-ported and dual-chambered, which Orange says offers a “bass-forward voice and wide stage spread” that is deeper-voiced than their 8×10. “The result is big and supportive rather than simply louder — a cab that fills the room, pushes more air, and lets you feel every note,” they state.

The Orange Amps OBC215C comes in Orange and Black covering. It will be shipping in March for $2,299.

Couldn’t have picked a worse way to demo the cabinet. What a waste of a video. I’m sure the cab is awesome, but, egad, that video didn’t help me.
