D’Addario’s New Backline Bass Case Adds Humidity Control and Road-Ready Protection

D’Addario has expanded its Backline series with the Backline Electric Bass Case. The company says the gig bag is designed for premium protection without the bulk.
“Built with water-resistant fabric, reinforced zippers, and shock-absorbing padding, it shields your instrument from impact and the elements without weighing you down,” they share. “Inside, the patent-pending Humidipak™ neck cradle provides integrated two-way humidity control so your guitar is always sounding and playing its best.”
The Backline bass case also includes a detachable Breakaway Bag with Auto Lock mechanisms for storing your accessories. The main case measures 50.5 inches tall, 15 inches long, and 6.5 inches wide.
