Jack White Announces New Album “Frozen Charlotte” with Dominic John Davis on Bass

Dominic Davis, Frozen Charlotte Album Cover, Jack White

After debuting two new songs on Saturday Night Live in April, Jack White has announced his seventh studio album Frozen Charlotte will be released on July 10th. The music continues the “raucous, raw and frenetic energy” from 2024’s No Name, his website explains.

“13 tracks of distinct feel and tone, Frozen Charlotte is an intense rock and roll punch with never far behind blues underpinnings…all of which fits right at home with long time fans while leaving an inviting open door to newcomers alike,” it shares.

As with the previous singles, White is backed by his longtime collaborators for the album, including drummer Patrick Keeler, keyboardist Bobby Emmett, and bassist Dominic John Davis. Davis brings a gritty bass tone to White’s new single, “Dollar Bill.”

If you missed it, check out the previously released “G.O.D. And The Broken Ribs.” Davis gave us the inside scoop on his gear, explaining he used a ’65 Fender Jazz through the Hardware x Donner Triple Threat with some heavy palm muting and a pick. They also used the Third Man Triplegraph for the low octave.

Frozen Charlotte will be out July 10th on CD, vinyl and as a digital download (Apple Music, and Amazon Music). You can catch Davis on the road with White during his extensive tour dates.
