Bergantino Launches Its Lightest Bass Cabinets Yet with the HPN Series
Bergantino Audio Systems has introduced a new line of bass cabinets called the HPN, or High Power Neo, Series. Founder and chief designer Jim Bergantino calls them the latest evolution in the company’s lightweight, neodymium-based designs.
“With the HPN Series, our goal was to create the lightest cabinets we’ve ever built without compromising the performance, articulation, and musicality that players expect from Bergantino,” he states. “The result is a series that delivers exceptional portability while maintaining the sonic character our customers know and trust.”
The lineup includes three configurations: the HPN112 (1×12″ with tweeter), the HPN210 (2×10″ with tweeter), and the HPN212 (2×12″ with tweeter). The HPN112 and HPN210 are rated at 500 watts RMS, while the HPN212 can handle 1,000 watts. Each is fitted with Bergantino’s Reference Series compression driver and Constant Directivity horn, matched with a custom phase-coherent crossover network.
Other common features include lightweight Italian Poplar construction, Baltic Birch baffles, and a Tolex covering available in Black Cherry or Classic Black.
The Bergantino HPN Series cabinets will be shipping late June or early July 2026. They’re open to pre-order with prices ranging from $1,179 to $1,699.
