Danny Elfman Announces Fall North American Tour with Matt McJunkins

Danny Elfman has confirmed a North American tour for the fall, and he’ll have a killer band with him. The former Oingo Boingo leader and film composer will be joined by guitarist Nili Brosh (Dethklok), Robin Finck (Nine Inch Nails), Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails), and bassist Matt McJunkins. McJunkins is known for his tenures in A Perfect Circle, Eagles of Death Metal, Puscifer, and more.

The tour will kick off on September 7th in Chicago, Illinois, at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom. It will focus on the East Coast throughout the month, finishing September with appearances at the Shaky Knees and Louder Than Life festivals. The final dates at the beginning of October are in California.

Elfman will lead his band in performing music from throughout his career. The tour is in part to support an upcoming album, though he has yet to release any details about it. We’ll keep you updated as the picture gets clearer.
