Spector Demos Rex Brown’s New Euro 4 Signature Bass
This one is a little different from our usual Bass Video of the Day, but we could not pass it up.
Spector General Manager Wil DeYoung plugged in Rex Brown’s new Euro 4 Signature bass for a demo, giving us a chance to hear the instrument in action. We recently caught up with Rex for an interview, so the timing on this one is especially good.
The bass features a flame maple top, empress wood body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, EMG PJ X pickups, and a Spector TonePump preamp.
Wil runs the bass through a Darkglass combo for the demo. That gritty overdrive you hear is coming straight from the amp, with no pedal in the signal chain.
