Cort Introduces Sandberg Designed Arona Series Bass Guitars
Cort has teamed up with the German bass builders at Sandberg to create the Arona series of bass guitars. Available in 4 or 5-string versions, the Arona marries Sandberg’s engineering and designs with Cort’s production.
The Arona is available with a swamp ash or alder body depending on the finish, and has a 3-piece bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The pickup system is also a new design, called Desonic by Delano, featuring two bar magnet pickups with 9.5mm pole slugs and custom coils. They are coupled with active electronics with push/pull volume control and balance, treble and bass controls.
The Cort Arona is available now. The 4-string model has an MSRP of $795, while the 5-string is $850. For more info, visit Cort’s website.
