Jon Liebman’s “Rock Bass” Method Reissued
Fifteen years after its original release, Jon Liebman’s Rock Bass instructional book has been updated. The revised edition features a new section focusing on music from the 2000’s, an updated appendix on equipment and effects and a foreward by Billy Sheehan.
Rock Bass now features over 130 musical selections ranging from the earliest rock riffs of the ’50s to present day to help you learn the genre’s many styles.
Each of the selections is recorded on an accompanying CD with guitar and drums. The bass is panned to one side with the rest of the band on the other side so you can isolate the bass to learn it or mute it to play with the track on your own.
The book also has an extensive discography of recommended music covering each decade of rock and roll, including Chuck Berry, the Beatles, Chicago, Metallica, Nickelback and more.
