Line 6 Introduces Sonic Port VX Audio Interface

Line 6 Sonic Port VX Audio Interface in action

Line 6 has introduced the Sonic Port VX mobile audio interface. Designed for portability, it’s equipped with a three built-in condenser microphones with preamps, a stereo line input, and a guitar/bass input with 120dB of dynamic range.

The microphone setup includes a stereo matched pair and a front-facing mono mic for versatility. Aside from its inputs, the Sonic Port VX has 1/4-inch stereo outputs for connecting to studio monitors. The interface is made compatible with iOS, Mac and PC to allow for recording on nearly any platform. Line 6 suggests that the box pairs well with the free Mobile POD app to act as a bass or guitar interface with amp and effect modeling or playing along with your iTunes library.

The Line 6 Sonic Port VX is available now with a street price around $199.
