Acoustic Image Introduces Clarus SL and SL-R Amp Heads

Acoustic Image Clarus-SL Amp Head

Acoustic Image has announced it will be reintroducing the Clarus SL and Clarus SL-R single-channel amp heads as part of their 4plus Series. The compact units weigh in at just over 2 1/2 pounds while dishing out 600 watts of power into 4 ohms.

A core update to the models is the inclusion of Acoustic Image’s FLEX-style four-channel EQ, with Low, Lo Mid, High Mid, and Treble controls. It also has a sweepable low cut filter. Each model has both Hi Z and Lo Z 1/4-inch inputs to optimize for piezo pickups. The SL and SL-R differ with the SL-R adding built-in reverb and delay effects. Other features include a front-facing effects loop, a direct output with controls, a mute switch, and automatic voltage switching for universal AC mains operation.
