TC Electronic Introduces the BAM200 Mini Bass Amp

TC Electronic unveiled a new bass amp at the 2019 Winter NAMM Show called the BAM200. The unit is a miniature 200-watt amp intended for “club gigs and practice rigs.” Its Class D power section keeps the weight down while its preamp gives a more natural sound.
“A specially designed high-voltage MOSFET preamp gives BAM200 its warm sound and immediate feel of an actual tube amp, while the responsive 3-band EQ provides a broad tonal palette that lets you lay down the law in any musical genre,” the company says.
The BAM200 also has a headphone amplifier with speaker emulation for silent practice. Other features include a balanced DI and a steel chassis.
The TC Electronic BAM200 will be available this quarter with a street price of $149.99.
