Sandberg Guitars Unveils the Limited Edition California Grand Dark Bass

Sandberg Guitars has announced a new limited edition model to their California Grand Dark series, which was introduced three years ago. The new bass is limited to 40 pieces and comes in a high-gloss orange finish.
As with the rest of the series, Sandberg fits the instrument with a custom preamp designed by Darkglass Electronics that includes a pickup-split switch, an active/passive push/pull pot, and a three-band EQ.
“With its 35” scale and the custom designed Sandberg PLUS Pickups, this bass is a true powerhouse of deep tunings and growly tones,” the company writes. “It comes equipped with Sandberg´s custom-designed bridge and aluminum lightweight tuners.”
The Sandberg Guitars Limited Edition California Grand Dark bass is available for preorder with a price of around $2,200.
