Bergantino Announces the HG312 Bass Cabinet
Bergantino Audio Systems has expanded its Holographic (HG) series with a new cabinet called the HG312. Weighing in at 49 pounds, the 750-watt bass cab features a sealed design with three 12-inch neodymium magnet woofers and a compression driver. One of the woofers is rear-facing to create a three-dimensional sound field.
“The rear-firing 12″ speaker provides a sonically charged heavyweight blanket of bass that has to be experienced first-hand,” the company writes. “The HG312 is a workhorse with a canvas that can cover any genre of music. Proprietary woofers, with neodymium magnets, are used for the low-frequency section of the HG series along with a High-Intelligibility Compression Driver mated to a Constant Directivity Horn to ensure consistent coverage from the lowest to highest notes.”
Bergantino crafts the HG312 with lightweight Italian poplar with Baltic birch for the baffle. It’s covered in black bronco tolex and has inset side handles.
The Bergantino HG312 will be shipping November 1st with a street price of $1,599.
