Aria Guitars Announces the Aria Pro II 313-MK2 “Detroit” Bass

Aria Guitars is paying homage to the classics this year with their Hot Rod Collection, which includes the Aria Pro II 313-MK2 “Detroit” bass. Unveiled at the Winter NAMM Show, the bass comes in four and five-string versions in a style that Aria says “unites heritage among Vintage, Retro, Boutique, and Modern.”
The Detroit bass is built with an ash body in three open-pore finishes, a roasted maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard holding 24 frets. Aria fits the bodies with a P/J pickup configuration with the PV-5 Alnico-5 split-coil pickup in the neck position and a JV-4 Alnico-5 single coil by the bridge. It’s three knobs control Volume, Tone, and pickup balance. Finally, the basses are fitted with chrome Wilkinson hardware.
The Aria Pro II 313-MK2 “Detroit” will be available this summer with a price of $449 for the four-string and $499 for the five-string.
