The next installment of the Zoom webinars hosted by Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten is coming up this Thursday, May 21st at 1pm Eastern. Entitled “Gadd-Shed,” the free session will have the Bass Extremes duo speaking with drum legend Steve Gadd as well as many of the amazing bassists that he’s worked with, including Ron Carter, Chuck Rainey, Tony Levin, Anthony Jackson, and Will Lee.

“One of the most prolific groove-meisters in music, surrounded by many of the bassists with whom he made history,” the event’s description reads. “The grooves to Paul Simon’s ‘Late in the Evening’, Steely Dan’s ‘Aja’, Chick Corea’s ‘Nite Sprite’, Rickie Lee Jones ‘Chuckie’s in Love’, and many more are represented. A monumental gathering of GROOVE.”

The webinar is brought to you by the Berklee Bass Department and TheBassVault.com. It is free to join, but you have to register ahead of time via the Berklee Campus Zoom page.
