Weather Report: Black Market (Live at Montreux 1976)
Weather Report’s 1976 Black Market was my introduction to the band, and the record that made me a lifelong fan. It was also my introduction to Jaco Pastorius and Alphonso Johnson.
I’ve seen this video many times, but we’ve never shared it here for some reason: the band’s 1976 performance of the album’s title track, with Jaco handling the bass (Alphonso was the bassist on the studio album).
This one brings back great memories.
