Spector Introduces Bantam 5 Bass
Spector has expanded their line of Bantam basses with a new five-string model. Similar to the four-string, the Bantam 5 Bass has a medium 32-inch scale length and a chambered body. Spector says this delivers a lightweight and comfortable instrument.
“Bantam 5 basses feature the classic NS body style, which is fully carved and contoured to the player’s body using chambered European Alder and a gorgeous figured Maple top,” they write. “The deep-inset bolt-on neck ensures the utmost resonance and projection while providing an effortless playing experience with its perfectly carved neck profile and fast 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.”
Spector loads the Bantam 5 with a set of EMG 40DC pickups paired with an EMG BTC active preamp. The bass comes in three finishes: Black Cherry, Black Stain, and Solid White.
The Spector Bantam 5 is available now for $2,099.99.
