2021 Reader Favorite Bassists – #1: Ellen Alaverdyan

We’ve reached #1, and this one is extra special to us this year. When we started No Treble in 2009, we set out to feature not only the big names in the world of bass but everyone we could connect with across the world.
Nine-year-old Ellen Alaverdyan caught our attention in 2021, and the attention of a lot more people. While we didn’t feature a ton of her videos (yet), the ones we did were well received.
Ellen’s dedication, enthusiasm, and skill are on full display with each video she shares. No Treble readers responded with words of encouragement and amazement along the way.
We’re so thrilled to see Ellen take the top spot. The future of the bass is in excellent hands.

Wow, this kiddo wasn’t even born when No Treble started! What an amazing talent and inspiration to all ages. As a certain Sith Lord said, “We will watch your career with great interest”. ??º·(???? ? ????)?º·?
Wow! You’re right. I hadn’t thought of that. Now my mind is even more blown!

Such a charming young lady!
I have to smile whenever I see her play. What a talented little girl.
