Carvin Introduces the BX1 Bass Preamp Pedal
Carvin has unveiled a new preamp for bassists called the BX1. The company describes the pedal as offering a natural bass tone with unprecedented control and extended headroom.
The BX1 has a three-band EQ with sweepable mids and a blend control to set the EQ and dry signal mix. It also has a built-in compressor with threshold and strength knobs. Its three footswitches let you toggle the compressor and EQ on and off and mute the signal.
Other features include an effects loop, XLR, and 1/4-inch outputs, a tuner output, and the option of using a 9-volt power supply or battery.
The Carvin BX1 Bass Preamp is available now for $239.
