Martin Guitars Unveils Junior Series Acoustic Bass Guitars

Martin has launched their first Junior-sized acoustic bass guitars with two new models: the DJR-10E Bass and the 000CJR-10E Bass. Each comes in natural or burst finishes for a total of four new basses.
The DJR-10E is based on a Dreadnought body shape, while the 000CJR-10E is on a 000 shape. Each model has a 24-inch scale, but Martin describes them as slightly smaller than their full-size instruments without sacrificing tone or volume.
Available in left or right-handed configurations, the basses are built with solid sapele back and sides, a spruce top, a select hardwood neck, and a richlite fingerboard. Martin includes a Fishman Sonitone BT-1 pickup system for plugging in.
The Martin DJR-10E Bass and the 000CJR-10E Bass will be available soon with a price point of $749.
