Dave Matthews Band Releases “Walk Around The Moon”
Dave Matthews Band has released their 10th studio album, entitled Walk Around The Moon. The record was written and recorded by the band members starting in 2020, and the trading of music back and forth led to a rather broad range of sounds.
The album marks the first without violinist Boyd Tinsley as well as the first with keyboardist Buddy Strong. However, the power rhythm section of drummer Carter Beauford and bassist Stefan Lessard continues to anchor and shape the music.
In addition to Lessard’s solid work, Matthews himself plays bass on “Looking For A Vein,” while double bassist Thomas Harte, Jr. fills out the strings section on “Madman’s Eyes”.

Walk Around The Moon is out now on CD, vinyl and as a digital download (iTunes and Amazon MP3). The band is currently on tour to support the album. See below for full tour dates.
