Bass of the Week: BilT Guitars Rele Bass

This week we’re checking out the Rele Bass by BilT Guitars. Oozing with retro charm, the short-scale bass has tons of customizable features from your choice of woods to pickups to fingerboard inlays to hardware.
Its standard specs include a poplar body in a solid body color with sixteen options. Its maple neck can be upgraded to walnut, mahogany, or all the way up to a roasted Birdseye maple. BilT offers a Mustang/Musicmaster pickup from Curtis Novak, but you can also choose a J-Bass, P-bass, or humbucker set from various builders: Lollar, Fralin, TV Jones, Seymour Duncan, or Novak. You can also opt for additional circuitry like a Rhythm Circuit, a Hi-Lo circuit, or a 2-band EQ.
Finally, they offer Hipshot Ultralite or Gotoh Reso-Lite tuners and either a Stang style or Kluson bridge.
