Felix Zenger & Jan-Olof Strandberg: Under Construction
Jan-Olof Strandberg shared his latest video with us, and it’s got some serious cool factor going on. He teamed up with beatboxer Felix Zenger for a quick jam session they call “Under Construction.”
The bassist kicks things off with a Paul Jackson-esque bass line while Zenger, who Strandberg calls one of his all-time favorite musicians, jumps in some cool mouth percussion. The two groove together before they each give some space for the other to shine.
In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast.
