Bassist/composer William Parker has released “Petit Oiseau”, the latest CD by his quartet. The release features eight tracks, all written by Parker, featuring Hamid Drake on drums and percussion, Rob Brown on sax and clarinet, Lewis Barnes on trumpet, and Parker. The CD is released by AUM Fidelity and now available on Amazon.com.

Devo hasn’t had an new album released in 18 years, but their smash hit “Whip It” is being featured in commercials selling cleaning products and toothbrushes.
