Signal Snowboards’ Duff McKagan Fender Snowboard Bass
Some people play bass, and some people ride it. Signal Snowboards is a company that makes handmade boards, and on every third Thursday they get a little adventurous. In their latest edition, they hook up with bassist Duff McKagan and build a snowboard out of his signature Fender bass.
The kicker? It’s still playable.
saw this on burton’s page. so sick.
Stupid and a waist of a great bass! Next time you want to destroy a bass like that Fukn give it to me first!
Bassclefjef needs to simmer down and enjoy life a little. That bass WASN’T wasted, it was given a new, awesome life! Maybe Bassclefjef will get all pissed at Fender for destroying trees? Hahaha! Bassclef, you’ve been schooled buddy.

I do both, so I love it! it brings together wo of my passions in one incredible work of art!
So bad I don’t have money to buy string and you break basses like nothing so sad.
horrible, isn’t it?
frik’n awesome!
HOLY COW
muito louco…..queria um deste., colocar na parede da escola.
It’s better than anything Duff McKagan has done with a bass!
I used th think NO Treble wuz kool……hmmmmmm, think I’ll be able to live without it…..
UncleLeon, if it only takes one video to lose you, not sure we can do anything about that. Of course, we offer full refunds on all subscriptions if you’re not satisfied.
I want my $$$ back…..
It’s called a bass not a treble
Insane! :-))
I don’t know. On one hand we have a death of a bass. On the other hand we have cool bass art on a board. If I weren’t so poor and concerned with the cost of gear I probably would have enjoyed the video a little more, especially when the dude was riding it. I would have been cool with the board just hanging up in a case like the piece of art that it is. But to ride it? Come on.
After playing a Fender Duff, I would say it’s not much a waste…The design makes a lot of sense (J-P bass and pickup combo) and Duff’s bass sounds wicked. The Fender re-make however, is not up to scratch. Guns N’ Roses bass lines on it sound weak. What an awesome board although I’d keep that in a glass case, not destroy it riding it!
waste…
