Adrenaline Mob Releases “Omerta”; Announces Tour
Adrenaline Mob, the band formed by ex-Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy, Symphony X vocalist Russell Allen and guitarist Mike Orlando, have released their first full album, Omerta.
As we mentioned last month, Disturbed bassist John Moyer has joined as a full-time member of the group. Moyer replaced the band’s original bassist, Paul DiLeo (Fozzy), who left to pursue another project.
Moyer is not part of the album, however, because the recording had been completed by the time he joined the group. The bass duties for Omerta were handled by Orlando, who also recorded the guitar parts.
Adrenaline Mob kicked off the album with a performance at New York City’s Hiro Ballroom one day before the release, where Moyer made his onstage debut with the group. The band has announced tour dates starting in June (dates below), spanning the globe.
