Genz-Benz Shuttle 6.2 Bass Amp

Genz Benz has released their newest generation of the Shuttle Series bass amps, including the Shuttle 6.2 and the Shuttle 9.2. Featuring a tube preamp and a Class D power amplifier, the new line builds upon its predecessors with increased tube gain and the addition of the company’s “3 Dimensional Power Management” circuitry (3DPM), which adds heft and girth to each note while increasing responsiveness and headroom.

Controls on the amps start with Gain and Volume levels. The active EQ section has Low, parametric Mid, and High controls, while more general shaping can be done with the Low Frequency Boost, Mid Scoop, and High Frequency Attack switches. The amps have Speakon outputs, XLR Direct outputs.

  1. Gimme gimme gimme. Genz amps have such a warm punch to them, it’s like boxing a Godzilla sized teddy bear. :)

  2. I just recently got a GB Shuttle 6.0 and will try it out on stage on May 19. Can’t wait. Jeff Genzler answers any questions by email a customer will have. Great company and products.

  3. This or the Streamliner 600. Hmm….

  4. I’ve been quite fond of Genz Benz ever since buying the GBE 750 amplifier. I’d love to see more bassists using their equipment.
