Ibanez Releases New Promethean P3115 Bass Combo Amp
Ibanez expanded their Promethean combo series this year with the P3115, a 300-watt combo amp with a 15? driver and an HF dome tweeter with a passive crossover.
Unique to the P3115 is an on/off switch for the tweeter, allowing for more tonal variety by eliminating unnecessary high frequency overtones. It also features a Class-D power amplifier and internal limiter with an on/off switch.
Similar to the series, the new amp has a 3-band EQ and a Phat control, which provides more bottom and high end tone. Other features include a mute switch, aux in, XLR output, and a headphones output.
The Ibanez Promethean P3115 is available now with a street price of $399.99. For more, visit the Ibanez website.

Shit’s almost too good to be true. |:
Shane Raymond Armstrong Well, the BIG question is what does is SOUND like and who sells them where you can test-drive ’em?
I guess, technically, thats TWO questions….
I’m sure it will be a great little box @ a great little price.BUT nothing new here & I speak with experience when I say tha”t SWR’s basic black still “tonewise” has arguably set a very high standard. IMO.
on thomann it’s 400 euro…
Having played with my Hartke lh 500 which is very good Ifound this Ibanez Promethean 300 head I had to change my amp because this new amp is so small and nice. I say it will push all the watts it promises. I know because I have used it on my gospelgigs.
