Michael League, Cory Henry, and Nathaniel Townsley: Continuum

It’s hard to cover a Jaco tune without sounding like you’re just trying to cop him, so Michael League bravely set out to do his own unique version of “Continuum.”

With Cory Henry on organ and Nathaniel Townsley on drums, the Snarky Puppy mastermind tackles the tune without sacrificing his own unique voice.

Get ready for a great groove, incredible solos, and some of the best bass faces we’ve seen in a while.

  1. Speechless… so beautifull and creative!

  2. like a double bass! incredible!

  3. Kevin…that ain’t no organ, dude. Aside from that, this is a beautiful interpretation of this legendary tune.

  4. A couple more comments – I love the playing…so lyrically interpretive. Not at all fond of the octavizer (or whatever you call the gismo). But hey – that drummer. If I found a drummer that musical and sensitive, I swear I’d ask him to marry me.

  5. Note my profile picture.

  6. Anyone know the reasoning behind the pop shield on the mic’d speaker in the bass cab?

  7. I would love to hear him redo bright size life.

  8. Love it! Wonderful. Nice to hear this tune done in such a musical way without unnecessary pyrotechnics. Interactive and pure

  9. Hey! So great! What octaver do you use? it has pretty natural sound!
    Thank you!
