Simon Fitzpatrick: “Bohemian Rhapsody” for Solo Bass Guitar
Almost two years ago, we featured a video of Simon Fitzpatrick performing a live bass arrangement of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”.
Simon is back with a new version, which reminds us of how epic Simon is.
This is when I unstrap my bass and walk away. lol. This was so good!
Nah. This is when you should say “Huh, interesting” and see if there’s something you can adopt for your own playing – tone, technique, etc. Even if it’s a longer term goal.
I know. I was being silly.
I just can’t believe my eyes…. amazing!
wow!
Damn!
Just one more answer to the question ‘why more than 4 strings?’! And if you can’t play on more than 4 strings, that’s your fault.
While this is impressive, he is a one man band and if that is your gig then yes more than 4 is for you. Otherwise I personally dont see much use for more than 5. I own a 6 string and I thought why not give it a try. But I find I never go for it. I just have no use for that many strings :)
Your only limitation is your imagination.
I LOVE my 6 string!!! I feel so limited when I play a 4 or 5 string. I’m in a band that plays prog, classic rock, and Metal. I may not use the high C string for every song, but I’m always glad to know it’s there.
This is when I unstrap my bass and walk away. lol. This was so good!
Justin Hall already said that exact same thing dude. You a robot?
Genius! something to learn a lot from from as well.
Great!
Martyn Hunt Luke Jones.
It’s good and all, but it’s still just a cover, where’s the originality, plus my bands fans would piss bottle us off stage if we came up with this!
A little bit of envy, anyone?
I’d rather hear a great cover than a crappy original .
I have a reason for more than 4 strings:
Replace the guitarist and drummer!
Fuckin oath pete
OH SO SWEET ON DIS THANG…..
Wow! What a talent! I’m in awe!
This leaves me speechless : WOW !
Excellent! [too many strings for me.]
