What a treat this one is. The folks who run the Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival have shared Marcus Miller’s entire performance from the 2013 Jazz Festival.

The festival took place in March in Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia.

The band – which also includes Louis Cato on drums, Kris Bowers on keyboards, Alex Han on saxophone, Lee Hogans on trumpet and Adam Agati on guitar – performed nine tunes:

  3. Redemption
  4. February/Maputo
  5. Dr. Jeckyl & Mr. Hyde
  6. Gorée (Go-ray)
  7. Slippin’ into Darkness
  8. Run For Over
  9. Blast

    I saw him last month at “Jazz à Vienne” in France for the Renaissance tour. There’s also a replay with much better sound quality. http://culturebox.francetvinfo.fr/jazz-a-vienne-marcus-miller-the-renaissance-tour-138047 Hope it is available for foreign countries.
