Bass of the Week: Omy Guitars CM6 Headless
This week we check out a gorgeous CM6 by Omy Guitars. Built in Turkey, this particular bass features a headless, 33″ scale design that finished in a blue burst satin finish that makes its figured maple top really pop.
Its alder body is matched with a three-piece male and walnut neck with two way truss and graphite rod reinforcements. Although it has a reduced 33-inch scale, the West African ebony fingerboard holds 27 frets that almost reach the neck pickup. Electronics include a pair of Haussel custom pickups matched with a Mike Pope Flexcore preamp. Other features include ETS custom hardware, ebony pickup covers, and Jim Dunlop locking strap buttons.
The Omy Guitars CM6 is handbuilt in Ankara, Turkey. Each bass is made to order, so plenty of options are available.

Not usually a fan of headless basses, but this one is simply stunning, I would take it home in a heartbeat.
A beautiful headless bass! I have to agree with Daniel, not a fan of the Steinbergers but this is a headless bass I’d GAS for.
