G&L Guitars Introduces MJ-5 Bass Guitar
G&L Guitars has introduced a 5-string version of their MJ-4 called the MJ-5 Bass Guitar. The new model retains all the features of the four-string model with re-engineered bi-coil Alnico V pickups.

Each pickup features two side-by-side coils configured in a series-humbucking mode to offer a range of single-coil tones without the classic hum. The pickups are matched to a custom 18-volt MJ-spec preamp with volume, pan, and 3-band EQ controls.
The MJ-5 is built with either an alder or swamp ash body, a hard rock maple neck, and either a rosewood or maple fingerboard. Hardware includes G&L Ultra-Lite tuners and a G&L Saddle Lock Bridge.
The G&L Guitars MJ-5 will be shipping soon with MSRP’s starting at $1,950.

Please align the G string machine head first.
It bothers me as well.
It is aligned with the angle of the headstock edge, which is different in that spot. I think it looks better that way than if aligned with the other head.
