If you’re looking for a quick, easy way to record the beats for your compositions, Avi Bortnick’s VoxBeat app might be something to look into.

The app features drum and audio tracks, and you can create beats with a tap of the finger or through beatboxing the sounds you want to hear. Bortnick is also the creator of the Time Guru metronome app and is known for his rhythm guitar work and production with jazz guitarist John Scofield.
