Ibanez Adds New Finishes For Summer 2016
Ibanez has added new finishes to a host of their electric basses, including the Gio series, the SR300 series, and the Talman TMB310. Each of the entry level basses have a pair of new color options.
The Ibanez Gio series will now include the GSR200SDL, a Soda Blue 4-string, and the GSR205DVM Deep Violet Metallic 5-string. Each bass is built with a mahogany body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. Electronics include the company’s Dynamix P/J pickup set matched to the Phat II EQ.
The SR300E is being released this summer with two new finishes: Autumn Fade Metallic and Pearl Black Fade Metallic. It still retains the features of the series, including the new Ibanez “PowerSpan” dual coil pickups with a 3-way “Power Tap” switch.
Finally, Ibanez’s retro-sytled Talman TMB310 will come in Silver Sparkle and Turquoise Sparkle finishes. It’s fitted with with a passive P/Double J pickup configuration and has vintage-inspired features like a bound rosewood fretboard and block inlays.
Each of the new finishes will be available this Summer, and each bass ranges in list price from $285.70 to $428.56.
