Rockboard Introduces the Mod 5 Cab SIM + DI Patchbay

Rockboard Mod 5 Cab SIM and DI Patchbay

Warwick’s Rockboard has expanded their product line with the Mod 5 Module. The unit, which fits on all Rockboards except the DUO and DUO 2.1, offers six selectable IR-based mono/stereo speaker simulations with support for user IRs. IT also has an active DI, a headphone output, and a micro USB port for IR loads, a PC/MAC editor, and firmware updates.

“The speaker cab simulation & DI lets you go direct, providing YOUR sound, whatever backline is being provided at the venue you’re playing,” they write. “The patchbay part is designed to route connections from underneath your pedalboard to its front, in order to give you a central access point to your setup and tidy up your connections. For silent and on the road practicing, the MOD 5 also provides a headphone amplifier with adjustable output volume.”

The Rockboard Mod 5 comes with mounting screws, counter nuts, and a TX wrench. It will be available in May with a price point around $200.
